The original drummer for Guns N' Roses will likely avoid jail time after pleading no contest on Friday to felony drug possession charges stemming from a July arrest.

A Los Angeles judge ordered Adler, 43, to return to court Dec. 12, where it's expected he will be sentenced to rehab.

Adler was arrested in July in Hollywood after someone complained that he was causing a disturbance. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of being under the influence, but the DA's office says that charge will likely be dismissed if Adler is admitted to the treatment program.
