Rate-a-Trailer: New Watchmen Clip Gets Dialogue

Loading...

The theatrical trailer for Zack Snyder's Watchmen will premiere in front of Quantum of Solace this weekend, but of course you don't have to wait that long. Because we live in awesome Internet times.

Changing things up since the teaser, Muse replaces Smashing Pumpkins, there are more explosions, and narrator Rorschach gets his deep and raspy voice on, which sounds awfully similar to Christian Bale's Batman...

Sure, we could sit around and nitpick stuff we deem blasphemous in light of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' classic graphic novel—like how dare Rorschach refer to his team as the Watchmen, that's not like the comic?!—but why? It looks frickin' awesome, and the movie already has so many years of fanboy anticipation going against it. We prefer to be lovers, not haters.
