Flashback Alert! Julianne Moore Is Sarah Palin in New Game Change Trailer

Julianne Moore, Game Change Phillip V. Caruso/HBO

Ready to Republican-party like its 2008?!

Just in time for the 2012 presidential election, HBO is offering us a reminder of just how odd the 2008 campaign became when John McCain selected little-known Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.

And, judging by this brand-new trailer for Game Change, premiering March 10 on HBO, we're no longer disappointed that Tina Fey didn't get the role that ended up going to Julianne Moore.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation Trailer: Which Action Star Helps Dwayne Johnson & Channing Tatum Get Revenge?!

G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation Paramount Pictures

Make way for some new real American heroes.

Channing Tatum survived the first rumble only to be betrayed by evil operatives from his own government in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Lucky for him, he's got Friday Night Lights' Adrianne Palicki and can't-help-but-be-badass Dwayne Johnson as his partners in camo and special-ops skill.

With a menacing, video game-ready version of the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" thumping in the background, the Joes show off their adeptness with machine guns, hand-to-hand combat and swordplay—all fashioned this time around by director Jon Chu—in this spankin' new trailer.

But Paramount Pictures waits until the explosive teaser's final seconds to introduce the combat veteran who's going to prove key to helping our nation's most elite soldiers out of this mess...

New Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Mega-Trailer: What Have We Learned?

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Columbia Pictures

We've thanked Trent Reznor for a lot of things over the years, but today, we're thanking him for the eight-minute trailer for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo that he linked to last night.

Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, a bunch of your other favorite Brits and Swedes and the haunting, pitch-perfect score by Reznor and Atticus Ross (composed specially for the trailer!) have combined for quite the ride, one that significantly expands on the relatively puny three-minute teaser released a couple months ago.

Seriously, it's like watching a whole movie—one that gets us so pumped for the real whole movie, in theaters Dec. 21, that is. And here's what we know now, based on those five extra minutes:

21 Jump Street Trailer Is Here! Is It Worthy of Johnny Depp?

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Was 21 Jump Street this funny back in 1987?

Well, unintentionally, yes, but the feature-film remake busting into theaters next year is definitely going for the more obvious laughs.

In the first trailer from the Superbad-meets-Never Been Kissed-meets 48 Hours buddy comedy, we see Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, fresh out of the academy, join a unit that consists of fellow young cops who, like them, could pass for high school students. (Or so their captain, played by Ice Cube, says.)

Hey, it worked for Johnny Depp! Speaking of which...

Mark Wahlberg Ready for Crime Time in the Contraband Trailer

Just when reformed hoodlum Chris (Mark Wahlberg) thought he was out of the game, he finds himself pulled back in by his family. Wouldn't you just know? Seems Mr. Now Legit has to save his weasely brother-in-law who got in over his head. So Chris rejoins his old crew for, wait for it, one last job.

As you might expect, stuff explodes, guns are pulled and beatdowns threatened as testosterone pools up on the big screen. But what you might not expect is that it looks like Giovanni Ribisi makes a good bad guy. Go figure!

Spoiler alert: This is one of those trailers that seems to lay out the whole story and every conflict in the movie, so don't watch unless you're sure you can get amnesia by the time it hits theaters January 13, 2012.

Johnny Depp Keeps Track of Sex, Booze and Crime in The Rum Diary Trailer

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Johnny Depp has once again immersed himself in the bizarro world of Hunter S. Thompson.

In The Rum Diary, the Oscar nominee plays journalist Paul Kemp, a New Yorker who heads down to Puerto Rico to work for a San Juan newspaper and ends up on a series of trippy adventures thanks to a blond vixen (Amber Heard), her shady boyfriend (Aaron Eckhart) and, go figure, some abnormally high-proof rum.

And, he finds a story, much to the concern of his editor, played by Richard Jenkins.

Hugh Grant Sets Sail in The Pirates! Band of Misfits

Hugh Grant may have no sympathy for hackers, but he doesn't object to a bit of pirating.

The kind that occurs on the seven seas, that is.

In his first animated role, the British charmer voices the swaggering Pirate Captain (it gets more creative from there, trust us) in The Pirates! Band of Misfits, brought to you by Aardman Animations, the studio responsible for Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run.

And you know what that means...
