Tina Fey Says Many Nice Things About Sarah Palin

Tina Fey's Sarah Palin impression has caused some crazy-nasty flame wars in the comments around these parts lately, but the Emmy winner's appearance on last night's Late Night with Conan O'Brien proved there's really nothing to get all worked up about.

In the clip above, the 30 Rock star is humble, gracious and has nothing but nice things to say about the governor. She calls Palin “perfectly lovely"and was surprised when she offered up Bristol to babysit Fey’s 3-year-old daughter. "I was like, Yeah, that's exactly what 17-year-old Bristol Palin wants to do at SNL...babysit the toddler of the lady that goofs on her mom," the comedian cracked.

As for her own show coming back tomorrow night (or right now, if you prefer), Fey brainstormed a few ways she could capitalize on her current surge of Palin popularity:

"I should probably just try to talk like Sarah Palin the whole time so people are like, ‘Oh, this must be SNL—I'll leave it on.’ Or I should just say that she’ll be on, but you don’t know what episode so you have to watch every episode until you see her."

But really, Tina Fey and 30 Rock are awesome enough all on their own. Plus, she's got Oprah. That's all anyone ever needs.
