King of Pop Michael Jackson has dubbed his son Prince Michael Jackson Jr. He told the British magazine OK! the name Prince is an old one in his family and apparently not a tribute to the the Artist Who Doesn't Want to Be Known as Prince Anymore or a bid to start a new dynasty.

"My grandfather and great-grandfather were both named Prince, so we have carried on the tradition and now we have a third Prince in the family," Jackson said.

OK! reportedly shelled out $4 million for the interview and nine photographs of Jackson cradling his 5-week-old son and kissing him on the cheek, the first published snaps of young Prince. Most of the money will be donated to Jackson's Heal the World Foundation, which supports children with AIDS.

Jackson's wife, Debbie Rowe, 37, said that Michael had developed a knack for changing his son's diapers, feeding him and singing him to sleep. "Fatherhood has brought out a very protective streak in him," she said. "He is so loving and strong."

"I'm in bliss 24 hours a day," the new father told OK!.

Jackson added that he was adamant on Prince's growing up in a normal environment, different from the one he was accustomed to. "I have lived in a fish bowl all my life and I want my son to live a normal life," Jackson said.

The couple was married in November, soon after Jackson announced that Rowe was six months pregnant with their child. "I have married and had a baby with the man I will always love and I am on top of the world," she said.
