Just over a month ago, Fantasia Barrino was laid up in a hospital following a suicide attempt. Now the  former American Idol champ and Grammy nominee appears to be all the way back.

She has just announced her first headlining tour, aptly titled Back to Me.

The 30-city road show starts Nov. 4 in Richmond, Va. and will end with Fantasia ringing in the New Year on Jan. 1 in St. Louis.

If anyone is in need of a fresh start in the new year, it's Barrino. "I'm so excited about this tour and having the chance to connect with my fans, the people that love me and have been supporting me through everything," she says in a press release. "This tour is going to be a real special, intimate experience for them and for me."

It's a relief to hear such a positive remark from Fantasia, seeing as last month she was telling VH1's Behind the Music that she "didn't have any fight" left in her. "I didn't care about anything. I just wanted out," she solemnly confessed.

With the announcement of her tour and her pledge to "keep on ticking", it seems Fantasia is thankfully continuing down the road to recovery.

The Back to Me tour, supporting her new album of the same name, will also feature three-time Grammy nominee Eric Benét and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/producer Kandi.
