Jay vs. Conan: Alive, Well and Still Funny

Conan O'Brien brings Google employees into the fray as Jay Leno disses Team CoCo in his monologue

Maybe Jay Leno caught last week's 60 Minutes after all.

Two days after Conan O'Brien pontificated on national television about what happened between him and NBC, Leno worked a quick O'Brien slam into his monologue on Tuesday's Tonight Show.

Talking about the Times Square attempted bombing suspect who was arrested trying to board a plane to Dubai, Leno whipped out a fake Facebook page that listed "Team CoCo" among the pages frequented by suspect Faisal Shahzad.

Burn!

But that's OK, O'Brien was probably too busy shredding The Tonight Show's reputation over in Silicon Valley to notice.

While participating at a giggle-inducing Q&A session at the Google campus in Mountain View, Calif., he joked about the generation gap between himself and the largely twentysomething audience.

"You hipsters and hepcats, what generation is this? You're not 'Y,' you're past 'Y'...So you've like never even heard of the television show CHiPs...You were all born after The Cosby Show was off the air," O'Brien said.

"Conan, they don't even know what The Tonight Show is. They're watching YouTube," the interviewer told him.

"Well, that's good, I like that," OBrien replied. "Who needs to know what a Tonight Show is anymore?!"

Cue the wild applause.
