Material Mom says she often listens to her style-savvy 13-year-old daughter's criticism

Madonna may be tough as nails, but the A-lister does have a weak spot: her daughter Lourdes.

While promoting Material Girl, a Macy's juniors line she and Lourdes are collaborating on, the singer spills on her 13-year-old's keen fashion sense:

Madge tells Us Weekly, "You don't want to be caught in the glare of Lola! Sometimes I change—and sometimes I stand up to her, damn it!"

Whoa, we can't imagine Madonna following anyone's orders, let alone being bossed around by her own daughter.

On Lola's style, the star laments, "If anything, I wish she'd dress more conservatively. How's that for irony?...but I could never tell her how to dress!"

Sounds like the classic mother-daughter struggle. But in this war, it's badass Lola who ultimately wins.
