So, this is the "man" you're striving to be, Jon Gosselin?

When the reality dad stopped by Larry King Live on Thursday, he seemed to have turned over a new leaf. "I had an epiphany one day. I looked in the mirror and I said, 'I don't want to be this person anymore,'" Gosselin explained.

Cut to Sunday morning, when the bitter battle between Jon and Kate Gosselin apparently took an ugly turn. RadarOnline reports that in the midst of his apologetic "I have to be a man" media rounds, Gosselin allegedly emptied hundreds of thousands of dollars from the couple's joint bank account, leaving his estranged wife with only $1,000.

A separate account that houses the children's funds was said to have been left untouched.

Citing sources close to the situation, both People and Radar report that Kate is taking immediate legal action, hiring her own high-powered attorney. A lawyer for the mother of eight is said to be heading to court in Pennsylvania on Monday to demand the money be returned.

This news is just the latest installment of an already whirlwind week for the Gosselins.

Jon began his week announcing his desire to slam the brakes on his divorce proceedings and "to get back with Kate as a partner in parenting." Next, TLC removed Jon from the equation, renaming the hit series Kate Plus 8, thus incurring the wrath of a father scorned.

Gosselin fired off cease-and-desist letters to the powers that be at the network, prompting TLC to temporarily shut down production of the series.

And after all was said and done, Jon took some time to make a milk shake.

Reps for both Gosselins have yet to return calls for comment.
