UPDATE: Blink-182 paid a tearful tribute to their late friend during an encore at their Saturday night concert, E! News confirms. Where Barker would normally perform a drum solo, the band held an onstage vigil while all of the lights in the arena were turned off.

After forming an unimaginable bond over their survival of the harrowing plane crash that claimed the lives of four people last September, Travis Barker is speaking about his grief over losing his close friend DJ AM

"Rest In Peace my brother, this really f--ks me up," Barker tweeted earlier this evening. "I'll never forget everything we've been thru and every time i play the drums i'll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being."

The famed drummer recently reunited with his longtime band Blink-182 and is currently on tour with the group. Blink is scheduled to take the stage in Hartford, Conn., tonight, but Travis went on to write about the difficulty of their impending show. "Don't know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM," read Barker's emotion-filled tweet. "My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i'll never forget all the good times we had."

At the conclusion of last night's concert, all three members of Blink-182 fought back tears as they performed a song titled "Down" in Goldstein's honor. "We are doing our very best to get through this show," said lead singer Mark Hoppus, "but right now it's very hard."
