Ricky Gervais is such a big fat liar that he actually creates fibbing in his new movie.
But you can believe we'll be waiting in line when The Invention of Lying hits theaters in the fall. (OK, we'll probably let one of our friends wait in line while we grab a drink, but we will totally see this movie.)
The title is clunky—Liar, Liar was taken, apparently—but the premise is pure fun: Gervais discovers that everyone he knows tells the truth, but even better they believe whatever B.S. he tells them. That's good enough right there, but the cast is phenomenal, too: Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Louis C.K., Jonah Hill and Tina Fey.
Sure, all-star lineups aren't a guarantee of a good time (cough, He's Just Not That Into You, cough), but we'd be lying if we didn't say this looks awesome.
