Jamie Foxx doesn't want to fly solo when it comes to legal fees.

The Oscar winner has filed a cross-complaint against the owners of a Hollywood club to recoup the cash he's spent fighting a lawsuit brought by a bartender who slipped and fell at an event in 2007 following one of Foxx's shows for his Unpredictable tour.

Foxx's suit states that China Grill Management, Social Hollywood and LA Ice Art were contracted to provide a safe environment for the Belvedere Vodka-hosted party and "hold harmless" someone in Foxx's position for any "damages to person or property" that may have occurred.

In a negligence suit filed in April, William Presler claims that he was expected to work behind a specially constructed Ice Bar, perched on a very small mat. When the party was dying down, Presler says, he slipped on the icy surface and fell on some broken glass—which was left on the floor by intoxicated patrons and never cleaned up by Social Hollywood staffers, the suit alleges.

A deep cut to the hand required surgery and 170 stitches to repair, and the debilitating injury also forced Presler to give up his intended career as a brain surgeon, according to the complaint.
