Lauryn Hill's been off the pop radar for so long that we learned she was off the comeback trail before we even knew she was on it.

Citing health concerns, the mercurial hip-hopster has scrapped a 13-stop summer tour of Europe that included a headlining slot at next month's Stockholm Jazz Festival.

A statement on the festival's website confirmed the news. Promoters were informed of the cancellation by Hill's camp but did not elaborate further about her medical condition. They'll now have to scramble to fill the void left by her abrupt exit, with an anticipated crowd of 30,000 expected.

The former Fugees singer's itinerary had also included concerts in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Greece and Poland.

Hill, 34, has performed sporadically in the last decade, working at an Axl Rose-like pace on the follow-up to the Grammy-winning 1998 smash The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. No word when it'll be released.
