Don't panic, we did say Spidey as in Spider-Man—not that other Speidi.
After Spider-Man director Sam Raimi said last month that he was unsure of Kirsten Dunst's plans to return to the franchise as the meek Mary Jane, Dunst's rep Stephen Huvane has confirmed to E! News that the starlet will be appearing in the fourth installment of the blockbuster series.
And he's not the only Spidey insider talking.
When talking to the NY Post earlier this week, producer Todd Black cryptically revealed a few things about the upcoming Spider-Man 4, including refuting recently circulating rumors about the impending nuptials between Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) and Mary Jane, saying that he is unaware of the subplot in the script.
As for the fourth film's villain, don't believe everything you read regarding Morbius the vampire. Black turned that theory down, offering up this (comic book geeks, put your thinking caps on): "We're just coming up with who the villain's going to be now. We'll be shooting in New York again. Trust me, people will appreciate who we pick, because it'll be a big part of New York."
