Denise Richards: Dating, but No Boyfriend

The E! reality star says we'll see some romance in the second season of It's Complicated

Denise Richards isn't looking to have any more kids anytime soon.

"I always say, 'I used to have plans, but those went out the window because of the last three years,'" she told me yesterday while promoting the second season of her E! reality show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated (premiering June 7).

"As a single mom, I have my hands full with two daughters, but at the moment I'm good," she added. That doesn't mean she's not looking for a new man…

Denise, 38, says we'll see her dating on It's Complicated—sorta.

"Dating-ish," she said with a laugh. "That means not a boyfriend. When I say dating-ish, I mean no boyfriend."

Romance on reality TV ain't too pretty. "When we walk into a restaurant it's hard to eat knowing you got the lights and cameras and everyone is staring at you," Denise said. "I try to ignore everyone staring."

Denise said she was happy about how things turned out with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's two daughters, Lola and Sam. "They were in it very little the first season and they are in it very little this season—for those that had their opinion about that." 

"We just capture very organic, spontaneous moments with my daughters," she said. "But there are very few of them because it's not about that."

She's not sure how long the series will go on for. Perhaps it will end when she finds Mr. Right, because cameras would not be rolling on the wedding. "You know, I watched Trista and Ryan get married, but I would not get married on a show," she said. "I just wouldn't."
