One less thing for Ed McMahon to worry about.

The ailing TV personality has reached a settlement in his malpractice claim against Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, whom he had accused of providing him with unsatisfactory care, including two botched surgeries, when he was treated for a broken neck in 2007.

Details of the agreement were not disclosed, but turning the page on this fight must be a relief for the 88-year-old McMahon, who has reportedly been battling bone cancer.

Still up in the air is his personal liability suit against the billionaire investor who owns the home where he fell down during a gathering. The former Tonight Show sidekick says that his accident could have been prevented if Robert Day's outdoor staircase had been equipped with proper handrails and the path had been sufficiently lit.

In light of the Cedars settlement, McMahon's lawyers have filed a motion requesting that Day's legal camp be prohibited from mentioning the deal if their portion of the case goes to trial. Meaning McMahon's team doesn't want Day implying that the erstwhile Star Search host has received enough compensation for his injuries already.
