We're not going to lie, we were worried about the Girls creator and leading lady after she wore that awful Zac Posen gown with the unflattering fit at the Golden Globes.
That's why we were so pleased to see this short, sweet cocktail dress that she wore out this week. The lace detail is simple yet adds an interesting dimension, the low cut of the neckline makes her chest and arms look sexy and the black pops against her fair skin.
Perhaps this is the start of Lena Dunham: The Fashion Icon. Though if history if any indication, she'll show up without pants on at her next event.
