E!Tuesday's all-new Famously Single is a major cringe-fest with one awkward moment after another—ranging from mildly and comically embarrassing to just straight-up uncomfortable.
Between Aubrey O'Day attempting to brand her name on Pauly D's body and Calum Best calling Brandi Glanville by another woman's name, the discomfort is truly real. If that's not enough, poor Calum finds himself in hot water with Brandi a second time when he chooses to go on a date with someone else right in front of her face. Yikes!
Let's recap the night's top five must-see moments!
1. Calum momentarily forgets Brandi's name: For their first official date, Calum takes Brandi to a cooking class. It's all going well as they prepare the food and make inappropriate jokes. That is, until Calum accidentally calls her by Aubrey's name!
"Did you just fucking call me Aubrey?!" Brandi asks. Calum tries to laugh off his embarrassment, but he's still mortified. "It was in my head because we've been talking about her on the way here," he explains. "Jesus, that's like the worst mistake you could ever make!" But the error sort of works out in his favor because Brandi punishes him with a playful spanking on the butt!
2. Aubrey "tattoos" her name on Pauly: Aubrey decides to mark her territory with Pauly and asks to have her name branded on his body. "Baby, I want you to tattoo me on you now," she tells him. "Can I get a pen and tattoo my name on you? I'm ready for that step." Talk about moving fast!
"I'm not," Pauly replies as he attempts to pump the brakes. But after much pleading, Pauly very reluctantly submits to her demand. "Aubrey is a really persuasive person and she's charming," he admits. "It's very hard to say no to her and that's the red flag!"
3. Josh Murray jokes he prefers personality over looks: Dr. Darcy Sterling brings the group together to discuss what they value more in relationships: looks or personality. Josh, who is notoriously picky, shocks the room by declaring, "To me, looks don't matter." Everyone is flabbergasted by his delusion—until he reveals he's only kidding. Gotcha!
4. The ladies struggle with the "blind" dating mixer: While the male celebrities are having the time of their lives chatting up all the women at the event, the female celebrities are less than thrilled with the idea of mixing and mingling with men they can't see. "The idea is when you lose on sense that you gain strength in the others and so you can really be more perceptive than normal," Aubrey says. "I think that that's true. I was very perceptive with the fact that none of these people had any type of personality that I would like to speak to more than two seconds."
Meanwhile, Jessica White makes one guy feel bad about his construction job. "Where I come from, construction means that you're a drug dealer," she tells him. Later, she impatiently asks dating coach, Laurel House, "How many of these do we have to do?"
5. Brandi slams Calum for treating her like his backup plan: After the "blind" mixer, Dr. Darcy brings the singles back together for another group session to find out if they met anyone they would go on a date with. However, Pauly is really worried about stirring up drama in the house. "I was really sending Pauly energy, like 'Don't f--k up. Do not f--k up!'" Aubrey says. Luckily, Pauly reads her signals correctly and sidesteps a potentially uncomfortable situation. "Very cool experience," he tells Dr. Darcy. "But I think I would rather go on a date with Aubrey." Aww!
On the contrary, Calum does agree to go on a date with one of the women from the mixer—much to Brandi's chagrin. "When Calum said that he would go out with his blind date, that was like the dumbest move you could ever make and I know Calum's smarter than that," Aubrey says. "Brandi should be pissed as hell at that."
He later backtracks on his decision after Josh admits he would have picked the same girl. "Realistically if it's about going on dates with people, me and Brandi went on a date and had a really, really amazing time," Calum says. "So I will happily bow out gracefully and happily have Brandi and I go on another date and Josh can go on a date." But Brandi definitely is not pleased with that swap and says, "I am not your f--king back-up plan, motherf--ker!"
