"I wear scarves, mostly because it's an accessory that can dress up an outfit. But it's also because if my baby has an accident I can cover that accident up," reveals Alba, mom to Honor, 3, and Haven, 8 months. "So I'm not walking around with a big puke stain or poo stain on my shirt!"

"The best advice someone ever gave me was 'Don't listen to anyone else about how to be a mom.' It's gotten me through many situations" says Spelling, mom to Liam, 5, Stella, 3, and Hattie, 7 months, with another on the way. "I used to be obsessed with what other moms would do, but listening to your maternal instinct is always the right decision."

"You just have to go to sleep," Fey has said of being a mom to Alice, 6 and Penelope, 9 months. "There's a strong desire to get stuff done and be an adult, but just go to bed. Blow off sending your family birthday cards or setting the table for Thanksgiving—just go to sleep whenever you can. I just go to bed all the time."
"If you look at the pictures taken every day of my life you'll see that I do not make it work most of the time. I am in jeans that are on the floor from last night and one of the five T-shirts that I rotate," says the mom to Violet, 6, Seraphina, 3, and Samuel, 2 months. "I do know moms who pull it together every day—I am not one of them. But when I do, I try to really pull it together so it makes some kind of impact. Sometimes for yourself you just need to take a shower, put on something clean, put on a little blush and go out the door."
"My biggest piece of advice about parenting is to worry less and have more fun," explains Frankel in her new book A Place of Yes. Daughter Bryn turns 2 this month. "We sing a lot at home. We sing Katy Perry's "California Gurls" and joke about dressing Bryn in Daisy Dukes and a bikini top. We make up fantasy parties and tell Bryn that Jay-Z and Beyoncé will come, how even Cookie is invited."

We go in and we are waiting for a table and she grabs some gummies that are boy part gummies. I was horrified," Holmes explained to Ellen DeGeneres last year of daughter Suri, 6, finding P-E-N-I-S gummies. "She was holding the box and I was like, ‘OK, wow we don't need that right now.' Because I thought if I said, ‘Put that back,' and then she's going to say, ‘What is this?' And I really didn't want to have that conversation."

"Sugar is obviously a big no-no. No, no, no, definitely no Kool-Aid. There's no juice. My kids don't have dairy either," says Richie of the house rules she's established for Harlow, 4, and Sparrow, 2. "Joel is not on the same page as me so I can sit here and say, ‘Oh, I wouldn't do this, I wouldn't do that,' and I wouldn't. But Joel does take Harlow out and she comes back...[and says], ‘We had pizza!' And I'm like, ‘OK, OK.' "

"I know that having Mason sleep in my bed might be a controversial topic. But I have to be honest: I just love that time."

"I think that is just bad parenting. Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth."

Her bedroom is right over the kitchen and living room area so you can really hear us down there when we are watching TV. My mother taught me that. She said she used to leave a vacuum running in the baby's room and it really works."
