St. Gwyneth to the Rescue! Paltrow Resolves Glee-Kings of Leon Dispute

Internationally acclaimed conflict-resolution expert Gwyenth Paltrow has once again resolved an roiling crisis, and the well-documented snit between Glee and Kings of Leon is now over, thanks to Paltrow's deftly wielded connections to the worlds of filmed entertainment (thanks to her own career and her family ties) and recorded music (the domain of husband Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay).

Here's how the peace talks came to a fruitful and rewarding conclusion for all parties:

In case you missed out on the dramarama, first, Kings of Leon rejected Glee's request to license "Use Somebody" for use on the series, then Glee boss Ryan Murphy was quoted as saying "F--k you, Kings of Leon" in a story about the show, and then Kings of Leon responded with some snotty tweets and then an apology.

But now everything is gonna be OK.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paltrow "orchestrated a détente via text messages between the warring parties, both apologized and 'it's all good now.' "

A band spokesman tells E! News, "Let's hope that everyone can move on now and hopefully we can all finally stop discussing this topic."

Amen!
