New Girl First Look: Zooey Deschanel Celebrates Valentine's Day With True Blood's Ryan Kwanten

Happy (almost) Valentine's Day, everybody! Now is the time when TV shows roll out their V-Day-centric episodes and we watch our favorite characters attempt to find or keep love.
Fortunately, New Girl brought on True Blood's Ryan Kwanten as a guest star for their Valentine's Day episode next Tuesday, so it'll be that much hotter to watch Jess (Zooey Deschanel) attempt to hook up with him. "Here is my ultimate problem with True Blood," Greenfield says. "They're setting a bar for other men that's just too hard to attain. You see the bodies on these guys? We're just here on Fox, with so-so bodies. But we're trying really hard."
We're not surprised that Kwanten caused a complex when he waltzed on the set of New Girl. Now if only his character, Oliver, were as interesting. Jess wants to have a connection with him to help get past the fact that she's single on Valentine's Day for the first time in a long time, but it just ain't happening.
