The Office and Parks and Recreation Shockers: A Baby Bomb and Secret Lovers! What Did You Think?
NBC's Thursday nights are not known for their jaw-dropping plot twists or shocking storylines. Usually they just make us laugh every week, and we've always been satisfied with that arrangement.
But last night, as quiet as a ninja, both The Office and Parks and Recreation slipped in two scandalous storylines that could certainty play out for the rest of the season…
Paul Rudd Faces Off Against Amy Poehler in Parks and Recreation
Paul Rudd is heading back to NBC for another one of our all-time favorite comedies. You didn't forget he married Phoebe Buffay on Friends, right? OK, just checking.
Vulture is reporti ng that Rudd will be popping up on Parks and Recreation to play a very important role in the second half of the season. It's going to be a match made in comedy heaven because...
Is Rob Lowe the Next Regis Philbin?!
Rob Lowe is funny, handsome and suave...
But is he a morning person?
After his well-received stint guest-hosting Live! with Kelly Ripa, Lowe's name immediately jumped to the top of the list of possible full-time replacements for Regis Philbin, who signed off in November, leaving an iconic pair of shoes to fill.
So, is Lowe seriously considering taking the gig? Or, wait a sec, is ABC even considering offering him the gig?
Our Dream Golden Globe Nominations: Parks and Rec, Homeland, New Girl and More!
A Golden Globe statue in the trophy case at Greendale Community College! A few globes mounted on Leslie Knope's desk tucked away in the Parks Department of Pawnee! A TV ghost/serial killer taking home an award!
These are just a few of our hopes and dreams for the 2012 Golden Globes, and with the nominees being announced tomorrow morning, we decided to compile a list of shows (including Game of Thrones, American Horror Story and Happy Endings!) and actors we hope to see recognized come sun-up mañana.
Please note that these are shows and actors we hope are nominated, not predictions. So yes, we know Modern Family is the bee's knees and Boardwalk Empire is all that and a bag of chips. Trust.
Community's Troy & Abed Rap to Save Christmas! Plus, Parks & Rec's April Kills the Black Eyed Peas
Sorry, Justin Bieber. You've just been out Christmas song'd by Community's Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi)!
If you loved Greendale's best besties' Spanish rap in season one, you do not want to miss tonight's Christmas episode, which also happens to be the comedy's last episode before a very long hiatus (we're still giving you the stink-eye, NBC!). And what holiday season isn't complete without a painting depicting the murder of the Black Eyed Peas? A Parks & Recreation holiday season, that's what!
TV Writers Are Nominees, Too: 30 Rock, Game of Thrones, Modern Family Score WGA Nods
The big screen doesn't get all the glory at this time of year.
Modern Family, Boardwalk Empire and Breaking Bad garnered three nominations apiece heading into the first leg of the 2012 Writers Guild of America Awards—the one that honors achievements in TV, news, radio, promotional writing and graphic animation.
Except for The Good Wife, the Best Drama Series category is an all-cable affair, with the grittiness of Boardwalk and Breaking Bad also going up against Best New Series nominees Homeland and Game of Thrones.
The comedy categories, meanwhile, were a bit more broadcast-friendly...

Will Arnett Talks Arrested Development! Plus, Amy Poehler and Adam Scott on That Kiss
Didya hear: Arrested Development is coming back!
We know. You've heard this one before. But as further evidence that our all-time favorite comedy might actually be back in business (for real!), we chatted up Will Arnett at Variety's Power of Comedy Awards, where wife Amy Poehler (heard of her?) was honored. So what did Will say about the new AD deal? And what did Amy and co-star Adam Scott have to say about that mind-blowing kiss on Parks & Recreation?

Parks and Recreation Scoop: Amy Poehler Promises "Big Things" After Last Night's [Spoiler Alert]!
Holy heart stopper!
If you haven't yet watched last night's Parks and Recreation, stop right here and watch it before you read another word. There was a squee-worthy moment we so don't want to spoil for you.
So what comes next after that momentous moment? We just chatted with Amy Poehler on the P-Rex set to find out!

Watch Now: Oh, the Angst! Parks and Recreation Will Break Your Heart Next Week!
Oh, Parks and Rec! What are you doing to our hearts?! We're supposed to be laughing, not clutching our pillows and rocking back and forth while we sob!
In our exclusive first look at next week's P.Rex, Ben (Adam Scott) comes into Leslie's (Amy Poehler) office to have a pretty heartbreaking conversation with his ex-girlfriend. And this little talk could change the course of our favorite not-a-couple-but-they-really-should-be forever…
Watch Now: Community, Parks and Rec and The Office Halloween Previews!
If we trust anybody to do a Halloween episode justice, it's NBC's Community, Parks and Rec and The Office. And based on these clips from tonight's lineup, we will not be disappointed.
Jeff and Annie fans are in for a treat in the Community clip, plus Ben has a big ol' stick up his butt about a Halloween party on Parks and Rec. And why does Robert California bring Kelly nearly to tears?
