Is Oprah Winfrey Letting Rosie O'Donnell Steal the Limelight?

The talk show torch has officially been passed.

A little over a year after it was announced that Rosie O'Donnell would be returning to daytime TV with a new program on Oprah Winfrey's network, OWN, the two titans came together on Thursday for the unveiling of a sign at Harpo Studios in Chicago.

"Harpo Studios," it reads. "The Rosie Show. Former Home of The Oprah Winfrey Show."

So what did O'Donnell have to say upon seeing it?

"This is kinda trippy," she told the crowd in attendance. "It's an honor. It's really overwhelming."

O'Donnell's show, which debuts in October, will reside in the exact same soundstage that The Oprah Winfrey Show taped for 25 years before coming to an end in May.

And it's pretty obvious that O'Donnell, who famously left The View in 2007 after a controversial one-season stint, is excited about this new chapter in her career.

"Not a lot of people get a second shot and this is a second shot that's even bigger than the first shot," she said. "I'm thrilled."
