One Sad Goodbye: Regis Philbin Announces Exit Date From Live
The mornings will never be the same.
Regis Philbin revealed on Live With Regis and Kelly Tuesday morning that Nov. 18 will officially be his last day cohosting his popular syndicated gabfest after 28 years of hamming it up on the air.
"Friday, November 18 is my last day," the 80-year-old host told viewers. "But don't worry, the show goes on."
Come on, Reeg, is that really your final answer?
Alexander Skarsgård to Regis Philbin & Kelly Ripa: "Let's Get Naked!"
Sorry, Kate Bosworth.
True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgård wants to get naked with another gal these days—morning talk show host cutie-pie Kelly Ripa.
Oh, yeah, and Regis Philbin, too...
EXCLUSIVE!
Does Kelly Ripa Want Her Husband to Replace Regis Philbin?
Kelly Ripa would be just fine with her hubby, Mark Consuelos, taking over Regis Philbin's job on Live! With Regis & Kelly once the chatfest vet steps down in November, but there's just one small issue.
Mark doesn't want the gig!
"It's our favorite rumor, because the one person with zero interest in the job would be my husband," Kelly told me while hosting Super Saturday 14 this weekend in the Hamptons.
So why wouldn't he want the spot, which our own Ryan Seacrest and Anderson Cooper are also reportedly being considered for?
Live With Regis and Kelly: Regis Cleans Your Dishes, Ruins Your Laundry
Recently on Live with a Fossil and a Blonde Lady, the topic of household chores came up, and Regis wanted to make it clear that he does his fair share.
Bitch-Back! Should a D-Bag or a Creeper Play Hunger Games' President Snow?
Dear Ted:
I think Kelsey Grammer is as big a douche-bag as they come, but I can totally see him as President Snow. I think real life would play well onscreen! And in that vein, how about we cast Nicole Kidman as President Coin?
—Sariah
Dear Evil and More Evil:
Wow, some of you are really set on having Grammer take the cake as the onscreen leader of The Hunger Games realm. But really, we are still not sold. Snow's supposed to be strict and cold, and we feel Kelsey would let his weirdo, good shine right through for some crucial parts. As for Kidman as Coin, buh-rilliant! Nicole knows just how to lead in that selfish, conniving kind of way, no?
Dear Ted:
What do you think of Zeljko Ivanek for the role of President Snow in The Hunger Games? He has that creep factor for sure (he gave me chills in True Blood!), and the guy can act!

Kelly Ripa on Her White House Easter: "Wow!"
Plenty of people celebrate Easter by brunching with family and binging on jelly beans and chocolate.
But Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and their three kids hit the Easter jackpot when they scored invites to celebrate with the first family at the White House in D.C. this weekend.
They were just two of the celebs selected to participate in the annual Easter egg roll. Yesterday, they got a special VIP tour of the Obama's digs.
Kelly couldn't contain her excitement via her recently launched Twitter:
Bitch-Back! How Hot Would Alexander Skarsgård Be as Kristen's Huntsman?
Dear Ted:
I've never written you before but I'm a huge Kristen Stewart fan and have been wracking my brain to figure out who else would be a good huntsman for her upcoming Snow White film and I came up with Alexander Skarsgård. What do you think? He is hot and I think a little sexual tension between those two would be hot!
—missmeliss11
Dear Ding, Ding, Ding:
We have a major, major winner here. After Hugh Jackman backed out as Kristen's huntsman a few weeks ago, we were super bummed. But if there is even the slightest chance that Skars would be considered, this movie will put Lily Collins and Julia Robert's version to full-frontal shame. Beyond into this casting suggestion.
Dear Ted:
How about this: Cookie Muncher is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley?

Live With Regis and Kelly: Underage Abigail Breslin Freaked Out by Overage Regis Philbin
Fourteen-year-old Abigail Breslin stopped by Live With Regis and Kelly this week to talk about working with Johnny Depp in new movie Rango. But 114-year-old Regis Philbin had other, creepier thoughts on his mind.
Live With Regis and Kelly: Mona Lisa Disgraced by Connection to Kim Kardashian
Regis wasn't the only ancient work of art on his show this morning. No, today he shared that title with the Mona Lisa. Which, by the way, both he and Kelly have some interesting theories about.
Regis Philbin Retiring From Live
Is that your final answer, Reeg?
In a post-holiday bombshell that will no doubt dismay his longtime fans (and exec producer Michael Gelman), Regis Philbin announced on Live With Regis and Kelly Tuesday he plans to call it quits from the popular morning gabfest sometime within the next year.
"I don't want to alarm anybody," the talk-show vet said before revealing, "this will be my last year on the show."
