From Footloose to scissor happy!
Blond star Julianne Hough debuted a much shorter, shoulder-length hairdo when she hit the Hollywood Film Awards gala in La-La Land this week.
The bubbly, 23-year-old wore her newly shorn coif bouncy and wavy while flaunting some sexy cleavage in a plunging nude gown.

There were no injuries and his Audi was left with just a little scratch.

Movie theme week continued tonight on Dancing With the Stars.
Raphael Saadiq sang "Soul Man" from The Blues Brothers. Susan Boyle sang "Unchained Melody" (not "Enchanted Melody," Brooke Burke-Charvet, but nice try) from Ghost. And two-time pro champ Julianne Hough brought her adorable self back to the ballroom to cut a rug with her Footloose costar Kenny Wormald.
Whether that remake makes a dent at the box office remains to be seen, but another DWTS hopeful slipped through the cracks tonight. After a leaderboard shakeup that saw Chynna Phillips tie Nancy Grace after blanking on her tango routine, who got the boot tonight?

The 67-year-old head judge cut a rug on Dancing With the Stars tonight, providing for some very jolly entertainment along with musical guests Mary J. Blige and Estelle.
But the bumpin' Brit was just the hors d'oeuvre before the pièce de résistance: the elimination.
Last night, Ricki Lake came in first for the second week in a row and Chaz Bono finished dead last. Did either score matter when the final votes were tallied?

Hollywood has a new nemesis.
An anonymous collective of hackers dubbing themselves Hollywood Leaks has been breaking into the cell phones and email accounts of celebrities including Footloose star Julianne Hough, rapper Kreayshawn, Joey Fatone and Twilight actress Ashley Greene and releasing photos and phone numbers online. The group reportedly even found and released the script of the upcoming Tom Cruise musical Rock of Ages.
Besides hacking, the group also claims to have an anti-Semitic agenda.

The new Footloose trailer is finally here, complete with plenty of fierce moves from former Dancing With the Stars darling Julianne Hough and hottie newcomer Kenny Wormald.
And while no one could ever replace Kevin Bacon...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Obviously, that was the thinking of everyone involved with this remake (out Oct. 14) of the 1984 classic flick Footloose.
In fact, there are so many things here that remind us of the original, you almost can't help but wonder, why did they even redo it in the first place? Of course, had they gone and severely altered what came before, well, it would have been sheer sacrilege.
That all being said, though, what we do end up with here looks to be a lot of fun. Julianne Hough, as the preacher's daughter, actually appears to be a pretty good actress, and relative newcomer Kenny Wormald seems to fill Kevin Bacon's dancing shoes rather nicely.
Oh, and did we mention, fun? Who doesn't like dancing?
