HBO
HBO has done damage control.
Game of Thrones execs got some flack after fans Republicans realized that the show used what looked like a George W. Bush mask as a character's severed head on a stake for season one's finale, and although creators have publicly apologized, the network has gone one step further.
HBO pulled the episode from its streaming service, HBO GO, as well as from iTunes, and they even stopped shipments of the first season DVD, but now the episode containing the controversial prop is back online—with a change.
The Washington Post first reported that the head had been slightly altered so it doesn't resemble the former president of the United States.
