All eyes are on Sarah Palin—uh, we mean Julianne Moore playing Sarah Palin—as we see the veep wannabe's most infamous lines and get herself in a tizzy about the campaign behind-the-scenes.

Flashback Alert! Julianne Moore Is Sarah Palin in New Game Change Trailer

Julianne Moore, Game Change Phillip V. Caruso/HBO

Ready to Republican-party like its 2008?!

Just in time for the 2012 presidential election, HBO is offering us a reminder of just how odd the 2008 campaign became when John McCain selected little-known Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.

And, judging by this brand-new trailer for Game Change, premiering March 10 on HBO, we're no longer disappointed that Tina Fey didn't get the role that ended up going to Julianne Moore.

More from The Awful Truth

"Every year I think, ‘We've kinda done it.' Every year I think ‘Wow, that was better than last year. These story lines and these scenes and the cast…I don't think they could get any better.' "

So says Kristin Bauer—who plays scene stealing vamp-extraordinaire Pam on True Blood—when we asked what's to come for the fangtastic HBO show. "And that's how I feel about [season] five," K.B. told us from the set.

So what sort of outrageous things will Pam say this season? And what's it like for the gal to work with Alexander Skarsgård now that he's a big, huge movie star?

More from Marc Malkin

We cannot wait to see Game Change, HBO's adaptation of the book of the same name about the 2008 presidential election.

Julianne Moore plays Sarah Palin. If what we've seen and heard is any indication of things to come, her portrayal is downright freaky.

More from Marc Malkin

I'll get to the upcoming Entourage movie in a sec, but first let's talk about how Jeremy Piven, despite what he may thinks, isn't the biggest star in his family.

Four years ago, Piven's then 2-year-old niece, Pearl McCay, became a viral video phenomenon as Will Ferrell's foul-mouthed landlord in his Funny Or Die short The Landlord.

Now 6, Pearl hasn't let Uncle Jeremy forget it...

Who's Playing Bristol Palin on HBO? This Girl!

Bristol Palin, Melissa Farman Theo Wargo/WireImage for Candie's; Charley Gallay/WireImage

In casting the role of Bristol Palin, HBO has gone with a familiar face.

Melissa Farman, who starred in the cable network's award-gobbling movie Temple Grandin with Claire Danes, has been cast as Sarah Palin's daughter in Game Change, Jay Roach's upcoming political drama about John McCain choosing Palin as his running mate for the 2008 presidential election.

Farman may also be familiar to some from playing a young Rousseau—the one who was pregnant and full of hope—on Lost.

Speaking of which, Bristol was memorably pregnant when her mom ran for vice president of the United States, so there's an acting requirement Farman will be repeating in Game Change. Julianne Moore is already onboard as Sarah Palin and Ed Harris will play McCain. Cameras will start rolling next month in Maryland.
