Ellen Starts a Record Label, Signs "Paparazzi" Boy!

Look out, Simon Cowell. There's a new tastemaker in town (and she's been sitting one seat away from you).

Ellen DeGeneres is launching a new record label, called eleveneleven, and she's announced 12-year-old YouTube sensation Greyson Chance as her first artist.

Greyson, of course, made waves by singing a version of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" that had the Grammy winner herself calling up to give him tips on handling his newfound fame.

The kid's bureoning career is also going to helped off the ground by none other than Gaga's main man, Troy Carter, and Madonna manager Guy Oseary, who have signed on to comanage the youngster.

"When I first met you, I said things are going to change," she told the middle school student during an interview airing Wednesday on Ellen. "Now [your YouTube hits] are over 30 million. How are you feeling about it all?"

"It's crazy thinking about 30 million people," Greyson said. "It just makes me happy. It really just hasn't sunken in yet.  It has been two weeks and it still hasn't sunken in yet. It's awesome."

And now he's going to make a record with Ellen.

Eleveneleven is being set up in conjunction with Telepictures Productions, which makes The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
