At least whatever sanity is lost is charity's gain.
Donald Trump and NBC have unveiled the latest crop of (if not A-listers, then at least folks who are on some list or other) famous types who will compete for cash for their favorite charities and—if all goes according to plan—start judging and hating on one another right from the get-go on the fifth installment of Celebrity Apprentice.

The first-ever Survivor winner and Celebrity Apprentice also-ran was released Monday from the minimum-security lockup he was tossed in after failing to comply with the terms of his release from federal prison in 2009.

John Rich's latest trip sure sounds like it was caught Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace.
"Did John Rich have a great time with fans in Las Vegas? Yes. Was there an altercation? Absolutely not," the country singer's spokesman tells E! News in response to a report that the Celebrity Apprentice winner was kicked off a Southwest flight from Vegas to Nashville yesterday for drunkenly kickin' up a ruckus.
But we hear that Rich was indeed the passenger whom the airline assessed was "not fit for travel."

Donald Trump became a grandfather for the fourth time when eldest son Donald Jr. and wife Vanessa welcomed their third child together early Sunday morning.
"8lb 4oz born 2:59 am Sun oct 2. Mom and baby doing great! He can't wait 2 meet his big brother & sister," Don Jr. tweeted today.

At least, that's what the new round of rumors would have us believe, as the New York Post claimed this week that Donald Trump has become the highest-paid star in all of reality TV after scoring a, well, Trump-sized raise that has him personally banking a whopping $65 million for the next two seasons of The Apprentice (the rest is reportedly lining the pockets of coproducer Mark Burnett).
