They didn't want him dead or alive per se, but New Jersey cops think they've caught up with the guy who burgled Jon Bon Jovi.

Nicholas Tracy, 21, was found Wednesday hiding in a third-floor bathroom of a house in Middletown Township when police were summoned to the scene by a tripped burglar alarm.

Authorities believe he is the thief who made off with $100,000 worth of jewelry form Bon Jovi's $22 million estate earlier this month, Detective Lt. Stephen Dollinger of the Middletown Police confirms to E! News.

Tracy is suspected of stealing from the "Livin' on a Prayer" rocker and two of his Navesink River-adjacent neighbors over the course of a month, ultimately making off with a bauble haul worth upward of $500,000. The Bon Jovi break-in was April 3.

A resident of Beachwood, N.J., Tracy was still locked up in Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail as of Friday afternoon.

He has been charged with four counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of second-degree theft.

Many of the stolen items have been recovered by police, according to the Asbury Park Press.
