Carrie Underwood might be one of country music's most popular singers, but that doesn't stop her from taking time out of her busy schedule for her baby boy, Isaiah.
E! News caught up with the blond beauty at the 2016 CMT Artists of the Year event (which will air October 20) on Wednesday during which she dished about the big night and her plans for Halloween in a few weeks.
"I've blocked off some time to be able to take him trick-or-treating a little bit and got him a costume and everything," she revealed.
But Underwood also confesses balancing work life with mommy life isn't just a walk in the park.
"I'm not going to lie, it's difficult when professionalism and your mommyhood collide—which is on a daily basis—but it's wonderful," she told us. "It's like bring your baby to work every day. He's just there, and it's great he's on the bus and helping me get ready. It might make things take a little longer, but he's just my little sunshine. He makes me happy all day."

Unfortunately, the little guy wasn't in attendance at the awards on Wednesday, but she was in the company of someone else close to her heart: her hubby, Mike Fisher.
"Mike is here," she told us. "He's probably getting all dapper right now. I suppose he can be at my table," she added, laughing.
She also gushed about the amazing group of people who were honored alongside her. "It's great to be part of CMT's Artist of the Year," she said. "Really good company I'm in, and lots of just amazing people to be around, so it will be a fun night."
Meanwhile, Underwood recently opened up about the biggest bit of advice she'd give to new mommies in an interview with Redbook magazine.
"Ask for help. Accepting help is hard for me, but I'm learning," she said. "Sometimes I feel guilty that this is my son's life: We live on a bus and we're in a hotel room and sometimes we're in the middle of nowhere and it's not so great. It's not all glamorous."
Though the singer admits she has a nanny to help out on the road, she definitely prefers to do the heavy lifting herself when they family is at home. "We have a nanny who helps out, especially when we're on the road," she adds, "but I'd feel guilty asking someone to watch him at home while I run to the grocery store."
