Vin Diesel and Paul Walker became the best of friends while working on the Fast and Furious franchise together, and the latter star's tragic death hasn't gotten any easier on Vin.

While addressing fans on Instagram in what what Vin has dubbed "xXx Thursdays," the Vin took a moment to talk about how Paul's absence has not only affected him but also his family. "My son earlier this morning, we were going over his birthday list, and he said, 'I want Paul [Walker] to come,'" Vin recalled. "And then he said, 'I really miss him.' Paul came to his second birthday in London while we were shooting Fast 6."

Vin has been using Instagram to open up about his upcoming movie, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and the drama surrounding Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and the cast of Fast 8. Although cryptic, Vin's message about the on-set issues was clear—he'd be telling the truth in no time. "All right so give me a second and I will tell you everything," he said in a very throaty voice in a different video, exaggerating the final part of the statement. "Everything."

Although he hasn't said anything regarding the tensions since then, his other co-star, Tyrese Gibson, took to social media to defend his "brother" Vin. Given the speculation that The Rock was referring to Vin in his "chicken s--t" rant, Tyrese wrote an emotional post to Vin.

"I'm so f--king proud to call you my family and my brother.... even now I'm learning so much about sitting still and being centered in the mist of all of this unexpected energy....... I've always said that if ONLY people knew how hard you work to protect this franchise and characters, minds would be blown," the caption read. "The fans around the world who continue to show UP for us are just all around amazing...... And if no one else will jump out there and stand up I will - You're my brother for life let's keep it positive and keep rockin this thing...... My proudest post......"

Co-star Ludacris seemed to give a silent seal of approval to Tyrese's post, sharing a photo of the full Fast cast without Johnson.

For a brotherhood, this cast certainly seems divided.
