1. Billy Eicnher (Billy Epstein)
"Why should people watch Difficult People? I think we are very intent on the show actually having jokes and not being like a gently funny comedy or a dramedy or something that's juts about like, you know, ennui in Los Angeles among rich white people. That's an acceptable genre and there are a lot of shows like that. This is not a show about fearing death, it's not a show about a marriage breaking up or about outward manic depression. Maybe they're depressed, but it's not about that. It's a show about making you laugh. It's a show about people who talk in punch lines and I miss that in comedies sometimes and I like that about the show."

2. Julie Klausner (Julie Kessler)
"It's one of the only hard comedies with a capital C that's on TV that's as smart as comedies that have different rhythms to them. Something I take a lot of pride in is we have at least five jokes a page and on top of that we have situations that are funny. I think that it's a nice change of pace to how people come to comedies that want hard laughs without sacrificing any sort of intelligence, so hopefully it's both."

3. Andrea Martin (Marilyn Kessler)
"Why should people tune in? I don't know. I mean, don't you want to be able to be entertained and laugh and forget your troubles and worries and have somebody else complain more than you and then feel better about yourself? Those are many reasons…And I'm in it."

4. Cole Escola (Matthew)
"Because I'm in it and Julianne Moore…and Countess Luann. The three most important people in entertainment."

5. Derrick Baskin (Nate)
"I would have to say with Difficult People, the writing is so very smart. It's always very current. Even though they're kind of jerks sometimes, it's from a place of honesty and love. They don't take themselves very seriously. A lot of what you hear from Billy and Julie specifically you can kind of relate to it. These aren't cookie-cutter characters here…You kind of wish you had the courage to say these things. You thank god for the filter you have, but sometimes you wish you could throw that filter away. I love that they just throw that away and say what we feel."

6. Luann de Lesseps (herself)
"Why should people watch Difficult People? Because I feel like Julie is an amazing writer. I think it's really funny, it's fresh and it's edgy. I love her comedy and her sense of humor, I laughed my way through the whole shoot. It was great fun."

7. Shakina Nayfack (Lola)
"Well, in a moment where so many people are struggling with hatred, it's great to see it handled in such a comedic way."

8. Sonja Morgan (herself)
"You can watch it on your computer and relax and laugh. It's real New York style. The settings, you can recognize them…Who doesn't like that? I really enjoy that part. And then the cameos! Tina Fey…"
