As if fans needed another reason to tune in for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards!

Billboard and dick clark productions announced Monday that Adele will debut her new music video for "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" during Sunday's show. The video was shot in London and directed by Patrick Daughters, who has previously worked with acts including Beck, Feist, Kings of Leon, Mika, Muse, Snow Patrol, KT Tunstall and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" is the third single off Adele's album 25, following "Hello" and "When We Were Young." The singer is currently in the midst of a sold-out tour in Europe, which wraps June 15; Adele kicks off a sold-out tour of North America on July 5 in Minneapolis.

And so, the countdown begins.

Anticipation will build in the days to come, as Adele never filmed a music video for her second single—meaning fans haven't seen anything new from her since October 2015. "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" is sure to be a hit, as "Hello" beat Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" to become the most-viewed music video in 24 hours; ironically, Swift premiered the star-studded clip at the start of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

"Hello" went on to become the second-fastest video to hit 100 million YouTube views and the fastest to reach 100 million views on Vevo—a record previously held by Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" in 2013. "Hello" also received a billion views on YouTube in 87 days, beating the record previously held by Psy's "Gangnam Style," which amassed the same number of views in 158 days.

Adele will not attend the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, as she'll be performing at the MEO Arena in Lisbon Portugal. Ciara and Ludacris are co-hosting the show live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Britney Spears will open the show by performing a medley of her biggest hits; Blake Shelton (with Gwen Stefani), Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Nick Jonas (with Tove Lo), Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony (with Ty Dolla Sign), Ariana Grande, DNCE, Céline Dion, Pink, The Go-Go's, Shawn Mendes, Troye Sivan and Meghan Trainor will also sing.
