Prince William and Kate Middleton's eldest child Prince George will get to sport some bright new footwear that's perfect for the typical weather in their native England...although not right away.

During a visit to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Tower Lifeboat Station in London Thursday, the Duke of Cambridge was given gifts for their 2-year-old son as well as daughter Princess Charlotte, 1. George received a pair of yellow RNLI wellington boots. His little sister received a teddy bear wearing a pink top.

Leesa Harwood, director of community lifesaving at the RNLI, said William "loved" the presents, "although he did say George would grow into the wellies, but that it would not take long before he did."

"And he said Charlotte would like the teddy bear and the sparkly top," she added.

William himself was also given a gift: Nigel Millard's photography book Carriage on the Coast, which features pictures of RNLI craft.

Last year, a month after she was born, Charlotte was gifted a pair or pink Hunter wellington boots from Andre Konsbruck, the Director of Audi UK. William was presented with the gift for the little girl at the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, England.

William had visited the station to meet with emergency services, transport and police representatives and officials from the charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a group dedicated to preventing male suicide. During his visit, the prince spoke about his own experiences dealing with people in distress while working as an air ambulance pilot.
