The E! Style Contributor Contest, in partnership with TRESemmé, has been narrowed down to the top eight contestants. They have made it to Hollywood—but it seems their journey has only just begun!

Before they can even think about moving on to the next round at Fashion Week in Miami this summer, or even onto New York Fashion Week this fall, all eight have to duke it out right here at the E! News studios.

So what exactly does it take to be the next E! Style Contributor? Styling chops, of course! Over the next few months, two contestants at a time will go head-to-head as they are presented with different scenarios in which they have to envision a full look (from the outfit to the hair) in just one hour.

First up, contestants Mikey Monis and Stacee Michelle took on festival season to create their unique versions of the ultimate festival fashionista. For hair, both contestants agreed that braids are the look of the season.

Stacee dreamed up a carefree boho look, which included a floral print bell-sleeve dress, a fringe jacket and a half-up 'do with a trendy braided crown. If you're doing tiny plaits at home, prepping with TRESemmé Botanique Shampoo and Conditioner for smooth nourished strands is key. Before you start braiding, spritz with TRESemmé Botanique Nourish and Replenish Hydrating Mist to strengthen and hydrate hair for a flyaway-free style that will last all festival-day long.

For his look, Mikey went a bit edgier with a cool army jacket and cutoffs, complete with a sleek boxer-braided updo. To get the celeb-loved summer hairstyle at home, prep the hair first with mousse to build in texture and grip. Then, begin braiding for a pulled-back style that stays put, even in the heat!

To see whose take on festival style won them a spot in the top four, watch the video above!
