Wendy Williams wants you to leave Chrissy Teigen alone!

The daytime talk show host is defending the Sports Illustrated model after people slammed her for leaving her newborn at home over the weekend, nine days after giving birth, and going on a date with John Legend.

"Listen. Clearly these are women who have never had babies that are getting at Chrissy Teigen and her parenting skills," Williams began. "Now, she had the baby nine days ago. And so she went out to dinner with her husband. Big deal."

She continued, "People are calling her selfish and saying it's too soon. I venture to say these people have never had a baby. Let me tell you something about babies. They're all in school, right? Let's talk about them...They come into our lives. We don't come into theirs. You know?"

Most importantly, though, Williams can't help but ask, "Number two, how'd she get her belly so flat in just nine days?"

The host used her own pregnancy as an example for defending Chrissy, admitting she was so excited the day she stopped breastfeeding so that she could finally get back to being herself.

"I was so happy to have a glass of champagne to go on a diet," she recalled. "Like really to get back to being me. So in conclusion, I find there to be nothing wrong with a woman going out for a meal with her man to feel like the she she was before this thing happened."

Meanwhile, Chrissy and John stepped out on Saturday after welcoming their daughter into the world on April 14.

A few followers began critiquing them for enjoying a night out without their newborn: "That spotlight pull be strong. One week. Who wants to leave a one week old baby to go to a bar?" one follower wrote. Another user added, "Yeah they could have ordered in…But it's like a competition with these self-absorbed celebs."

But Chrissy was having none of it. She quickly retorted: "I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!" she wrote with screenshots of just a few of the nasty comments. "'I never wanted to leave my daughter, I love her, BUT THAT'S JUST ME' - the passive aggressiveness is real!"
