Supergirl's first season wrapped up Monday night with a major cliffhanger. And considering the show hasn't yet been renewed for a second season, it might be a little while before we know if we'll get closure or not. (We'll know either way by mid-May, that's for sure.)
First, let's talk about what happened at the end of the episode—and then let's guess what the mystery could be, okay?
The episode seemed to tie everything up quite nicely—Kara got promoted, Cat finally said her name correctly (um, she totally knows Kara is Supergirl too, doesn't she?), Kara made out with James—and then a UFO crashed down to Earth. But wait, it wasn't a UFO—it was a pod from Krypton, and Kara opened it up, said "oh my God," and then the show ended.
WHAT WAS IN THE HATCH—SORRY, POD?!
Because it'll be quite a while since we find that out, we came up with a few options. Feel free to weigh in with your suggestions in the comments below!

-Laurel from Arrow—she's not dead on this Earth, and she's an alien!

-Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's dogs
-Harrison Ford (they can totally pull some strings to get him, right?)
-Superboy (okay, fine, this is the one suggestion that is not actually a joke)
