It's time for you to crown 2016's top TV couple, but first we had to narrow down hundreds of couples on hundreds of shows to give you your top 64. To be quite honest with you, it was hard. The TV universe is vast positively packed with relationships both great and terrible, and round one of our tournament has but 64 slots.
Obviously we managed, but not without plenty of hair-pulling and nail-biting. We had to eliminate any couples who haven't even appeared on screen together in the latest season, and had to seriously consider the definition of the word "couple," but somehow, some way, we present to you the 64 couples who will soon become 32, then 16, then 8, and then you get the gist.
You have until Wednesday, April 13 at 5 p.m. PT to vote, so you better get started! Meanwhile, you should also tweet at @eonlineTV and use that trusty hashtag #TopTVCouple to rally the troops for whoever you're supporting.

(P.S. Damon and Elena fans, we saw your tweets and LOVE your passion, but since Elena is not currently an active character on the show, we couldn't include the couple in the tournament. However, if she's present in season eight, 2017 is your year!)
