Russell Wilson startled us all Saturday afternoon with an Instagram video announcing that he and fiancée Ciara are getting eloped!
To be fair, the NFL player quickly added, "just kidding!" but you can bet that at least a few of his 2.2 million followers fell for it. The couple was actually on their way to Wilson's cousin's wedding.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback and "Body Party" singer were all smiles and dressed to the nines, already looking like the perfect bride and groom.
We're guessing it was a long car ride and Ciara wanted to have some fun with her followers as well, seeing as she posted a video of herself with a silly Snapchat selfie filter for the viewing pleasure of her 11.4 million followers. In fact, Ciara seemed to be having too much fun with the app all night, singing and "passing" the puppy filter onto other wedding guests! Side note: We spot that beautiful ring and it is huge.
The future Mr. and Mrs. Wilson announced their engagement in March with a few romantic posts on Instagram.
"She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one," he wrote on social media. "No Greater feeling... #TrueLove @Ciara"
The "1, 2 Step" songstress also tweeted the exciting announcement. "God Is Good! Grateful For You @DangRussWilson. You Are Heaven Sent. I'm Looking Forward To Spending Forever With You."
As for the couple's wedding day, your guess is as good as ours. All we know is that we can't wait!
