Kathy HutchinsCody Linley wants Miley Cyrus to stuff his ballot box, or so he told us today while picking up swag at an Emmys gift suite. See, Linley is hopin' his Hannah Montana costar will help him win votes as he competes for the disco-ball trophy on the new season of Dancing With the Stars.
He expects to see Cyrus, her dad Billy Ray and others from Hannah in the DWTS audience. "It's definitely not going to hurt to have [Miley] on my side," Linley said earlier at the GBK Productions gifting lounge at the Mondrian Hotel. "She has a lot of fans, and I need all the votes I can get. I'm having a blast on the show, and I want to stay on it!"
As for those pesky reports that he and Miley may be or may have been more than just friends, Linley insists none of it is true. "We're great buddies," he promised. "We're really good friends...We're just friends."
Now, let's get to the swaggin'. I'm told Linley was diggin' Laguna Beach jeans and munched on treats from Essential Chocolate. But it wasn't all about freebies. Linley also took some time to learn about children's literacy group JumpStart.
