NBCBlake Shelton was all about Gwen Stefani's SNL performances, particularly one rather unusual one.
The 46-year-old singer made a cameo in a sketch that saw host Peter Dinklage, also 46, play an '80s-style New Wave singer who sings a song titled "Space Pants" at a restaurant, which distracts a group of mobsters, made up of cast members Beck Bennett, 31, Bobby Moynihan, 39, Jon Rudnitsky, 26, and Pete Davidson, 22. Stefani then joins Dinklage onstage, wearing sexy "space shorts."
"Hey @gwenstefani... Please wear space pants when you get back home!!! Ha!!!!" tweeted Shelton, 39.
"@blakeshelton got in the suitcase," Stefani replied.

During the episode, the singer also performed her new "Make Me Like You," which is about she has confirmed is about Shelton, and "Misery," which appears to be about both him and her ex Gavin Rossdale, 50.
"Wow... @gwenstefani performance of 'misery'.. Brilliant," Shelton said on Twitter.
Stefani and Shelton, who co-starred as coaches on The Voice, have been dating since at least last November and have often expressed support for one another on social media.
After the show, Stefani attended an SNL after-party, wearing a risqué outfit.
Shelton was not spotted. He is due to perform Sunday at the 2016 ACM Awards, which take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Shelton is not nominated for any of the awards this year. It is unclear if Stefani will join him at the ceremony, which airs on CBS at 8/7c.
