Taylor Swift is beautiful. She's sweet and good to her fans. She's talented and wildly successful. She has a gorgeous boyfriend and a body that almost makes us want to give up our "one pizza slice a day" habit. (Almost). If Taylor was a woman we worked with, we would loathe her. But we don't. Not at all.
Why? Very simple. Taylor Swift is a huge dork. A self-proclaimed dork, actually. And she's not afraid to show it. Taylor flies her dork flag so high and so proudly and we love her for it.
When Taylor totally ate it on a treadmill in Apple's new commercial, she captioned it "based on true events." And when you look at Taylor's history of being endearingly dorky, we believe it. Here are our favorite DT (Dorky Taylor) moments:
1. She dances like no one is watching (but everyone is)
Taylor knows all eyes are on her at award shows, but you know what probably goes through her head when someone is performing a song she loves? "I can dance if I want to. I can leave my friends behind. 'Cause my friends don't dance and if they don't dance, well they're no friends of mine." The day Taylor stops dancing at live music is the day we no longer watch award shows.
2. She's proud to be a cat lady
"Cat lady" used to be a term used to describe sad, single women who happen to have a cat (or two). Taylor showing off the love for her felines helped get rid of the stigma, because honestly, who cares if you love having fluffy creatures around?
3. She loves a good onsie
A unicorn onsie. Christmas onsies. She probably has a cat onsie. You think your favorite would show up to an interviews in a onsie? Nah, only Taylor.

Make fun of her shocked facial expressions all you want, but we'd rather see our celebs show actual emotion during proud moments in their careers.

Needle-pointing, baking and binge-watching procedural shows like Law & Order? You'd think we were talking about the activities of our 66-year-old aunt Sharon who constantly mumbles to us about how our jeans are too skinny. But no, those are just some of the downtime hobbies of world superstar Taylor Swift. It's amazing.
10. She's quick to make ridiculous faces
It's boring for someone to look normal all the time. Celebs: make more weird faces.
