When it comes to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, Blue Ivy Carter dresses the part.
The 4-year-old only daughter of Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z visited 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with her famous parents on Monday afternoon to attend the yearly event hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
The Carters were the epitome of fashion royalty as they arrived dressed in their Easter best, Beyoncé donning a unique white and pink collared dress with a white lace skirt and platform white sandals. She topped off the spring look with a striped black and white duster coat.
As for Mr. Carter, he looked dapper as usual in striped t-shirt, black suit jacket and thicker black coat draped atop his shoulders.
Their little lady Blue Ivy looked picture-perfect in a fuzzy white coat and a coordinating bunny ear headband, which framed her head of spiraling curls. It looks like she's ready to hop, hop, hop right on down the bunny trail!
The reoccurring event, which has been hosted at the White House for nearly 150 years, draws thousands of guests young and old, including high-profile celebrities.
In addition to the Carter family, this year's guest list also included Knowles' mother Tina Knowles, singer Monica, retired NBA star Shaquille O'Neal and television creator Shonda Rhimes.
For the First Family, this year marks their last official egg role at the White House.
"Today is bittersweet for us," Michelle said at the event while the president made fake crying gestures behind her, according to White House pool reports. "This is the Obama Administration's last Easter Egg Roll.""
"If we think about what we've accomplished over these past seven years, it's pretty incredible. Because when Barack and I first got here, one of the goals that we had was to open up the White House to as many people from as many backgrounds as possible," she said before the crowd.
With 35,000 current guests and 250,00 past attendees tallied, it seems the first lady had one of her wishes granted.
