It's all fun and games until someone starts puking off the side of a boat.

Julianne Hough is on a girls' trip with her sisters and her mom in Cabo, and the group decided to hit the high seas for a day on a sailboat. Hough, who is engaged to Brooks Laich, shared a couple of photos of everyone looking poised and pretty on the boat.

"Let the festivities begin!" her sister, Marabeth, captioned the pic that Julianne reposted. But the truth would eventually be found out; not everyone had the best time on this boat. Paparazzi photos surfaced showing three women puking off the side of the boat while Julianne captured the whole thing on her phone! Be advised, there was a lot of vomit.

What once looked like a #flawless vacation to outsiders quickly transformed into a sneak peek at the realities of the sea: sickness. Unable to ignore it, Julianne joked about the ordeal on her Instagram.

"When you get so annoyed that paparazzi found you on vacation but then kind of get excited that they captured this moment!" she wrote alongside the photo, adding laughing emojis. "I'm a good sister, I videoed the whole thing.... @katherineh82 @shareewise @paintvalues all got sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sea sick! @marabethpoole and I felt so bad for them! #msl #sissysquad #plusmom #hydrate #forreal"

With the exception of this snafu, their trip did look like an amazing getaway vacation. Whether they were hanging out in chaise lounge chairs or going for a dip in an infinity pool, these gals knew how to have a good time and unwind. Julianne and her sisters recently lost their grandpa, so in his honor they played some ping pong on the beach.

"Little ping pong action in honor of grandpa Hough!! Love you!" Julianne's sister, Katherine, captioned a fun picture.

The rest of their trip seemed to go off without a hitch! All they needed was a little Dramamine. (Note for next time).
