ICYMI: A really amazing group of people are making a museum dedicated to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and we would like to hug them. Matt and Viviana, two comedians from NYC, have teamed up with Chicago artist Laura Collins to bring you the "The Olsen Twins Hiding From the Paparazzi" exhibit. Paper magazine notes, the comedy duo has experience in the museum biz as the creators of the THNK1994 (which stands for Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan) museum which they set up in their NYC apartment (so smart!) a while back. In other words, they're the perfect people to pull off this MKA extravaganza. Who knows, maybe the twins themselves will show up? Viviana told the mag, "I would hope they'd come in disguises." Same.
Any good millennial knows how important MKA are to our lives past and present. That being said, it would be foolish for any of us to miss out on the opportunity to help bring this exhibit to life. If you didn't know, you can get in on the action by donating to their Kickstarter. If you can't wait until the show to see the artwork, you can own some thanks to Laura's website. We're guessing it's going to be amazing, judging from the video above of Matt and Viviana hiding Olsen-style. How bad do you miss your Blackberry right now?
There are 13 days left to help fund "The Olsen Twins Hiding From the Paparazzi," and so far they have 80 backers. It looks like there will be some interactive exhibits as well. Perhaps the "Insta-Twin" the duo tweeted about? Ever dreamed of taking a selfie with your twin, but you just don't have one? Stand in front of a special mirror and live your dream. Sounds like this is going to be pure magic. Can we get on the list, please!?
Would you go to the MKA museum? Tell us in the comments!
