By now, we're used to seeing sob story after sob story as we watch reality competition shows. But tonight on The Voice season 10 premiere, did we see our very first swoon story?

Singer Nick Hagelin is a 28-year-old former ballet dancer with a beautiful wife and adorable child. He is also incredibly attractive, so it was very pleasing on the eyes when he popped up as one of the season's first blind auditioners.

But once we learned more about him—his past as a professional dancer, his present as devoted husband and father—we liked him even more. Hagelin's son was born with a rare disability that causes him to have stiff joints that make movement painful. Doctors didn't even think the little guy would ever be able to walk, but he proved them wrong. All the footage of the Hagelins and their cute-ass baby? Swoon-worthy for sure. (Also of note: Carson Daly hugging young Bash as the family watched Nick perform from the side of the stage. Carson is great with people's families.)

The icing on the cake? When the coaches had his wife and son join him onstage while he decide which team he'd like to join, which you can watch in the clip above.

12 hours until the #voicepremiere !! Join us @watlmidtown tonight to watch followed by a free acoustic show. Bash says "T Voy= TV" btw 8pm free valet and entry

Wisely, Hagelin picked "the Quincy Jones of our generation," Pharrell Williams. The man knows what he's doing. (And he knew earlier today, too, when he made his son the star of a Facebook video promoting his appearance on The Voice premiere, included above.) Savvy and swoon-worthy: a winning combination.

What did you think of Hagelin's audition? Which Voice contestant was your favorite?

The Voice auditions continue Tuesday, March 1 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
