How rude!

Fuller House is finally opening its doors on Netflix tonight, inviting fans back into the Tanner house, with Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) now taking over for Danny (Bob Saget), Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (Dave Coulier) as the grown-ups. While fans have eagerly been awaiting the return of the beloved '90s family sitcom, some critics have been less-than-kind in their reviews of the revival.

So when we caught up with Candace, Jodie and Andrea in New York City on Wednesday, we were curious to know how they felt about the negative feedback from some outlets.

"The critics never had a good thing to say about Full House and yet it ran for eight years in primetime and then it's never been off the air in 30 years. So it's a testament to what the fans want and not what the critics think," Candace told E! News' Will Marfuggi. "If there are any negative review that's how we feel about it with Fuller House; we did this for the fans and we think they're going to absolutely love it."

Preach, D.J.!

And like her on-screen big sis, Jodie said she wasn't letting any less-than-kind reviews get to her, as this revival was all about honoring the loyal fans.

"The fans are excited about the show," she said. "We're not going out there and trying to win an Emmy for Best Drama. We're a family sitcom that fans absolutely love and adore, and we're incredibly honored to get to bring that back and I think we've stayed really true to that drama."

For Andrea, stepping back into the role of Kimmy Gibbler was "effortless," but jumping back into doing interviews and appearances after leaving show business was a bit challenging.

"Doing the press is a little overwhelming," she admitted, but said Candace and Jodie have helped her through it. "These girls are pros. So I text them all the time like, ‘What do I wear, what do I say, what do I need, what do I bring?!' So they're really good at calming my fears and putting me at ease!"
