If you've seen a fair share of headlines speculating about the "Levels" singer's romantic life, chances are you're not alone. But before rumors spread even further, the 23-year-old is hoping to stop the speculation once and for all.
"I've been very open about the fact that I am not in a relationship with anyone right now," he shared with his 10 million Twitter followers Monday afternoon. "I am pretty sure I am the most reliable source."
He continued, "I've now been romantically linked to two of my friends wife and girlfriend while third wheeling at dinner with them. #sofunnyiforgottolaugh."
Just this past weekend, Nick was spotted out with a mystery woman while visiting Craig's in West Hollywood, Calif. There's also the constant speculation surrounding his "unbelievable connection" with Kate Hudson.
Oh, and did we mention there were whispers that the former Jonas Brothers member was dating Lily Collins? Easy to see why Nick felt the need to tweet the truth.
"These people are very good at cropping people out of pictures that make their story less interesting," he shared online. "Ready to share the journey I've been on this last year through my music... Which is coming very soon."
Despite all the rumors and suspense surrounding Nick's dating scene, the singer doesn't completely hate fielding questions about his love life.
After finding success, he knows the microscope of his connections just comes with the territory.
"It doesn't shock me or surprise me. I don't get pissed off about it. I've come to accept it," he shared in a recent interview with Complex. "It's a bizarre matchup to a lot of people."
