No matter what, Olivia Culpo always steps out looking fresh-faced and flawless. It makes sense since the beauty is a former Miss Universe, after all, but you'd be surprised to learn that the red carpet regular's go-to beauty routine is actually quite classic. To get the details on how Olivia styles her short bob, what drugstore beauty bargain she can't live without and more, keep reading!
What's your everyday makeup look?
For me, it is very simple. It's just a tinted moisturizer, an eyelash curler, an amazing lip color and a lip pencil. If I want to do a lighter, tinted moisturizer look, I'll either use the Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Skin Tint, but for red carpet, I'll use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I'm a really big fan of Charlotte Tilbury's eye palettes if I want to do a simple, clean eye.
What is your signature lip color?
For lipstick, I love Jouer's Hydrating Lipstick in Olivia. It's actually called Olivia! That's my signature lip color. I prefer lipstick because, first of all, lip gloss with my hair can get crazy and annoying. And a stain, I find, can run. So a lipstick, for me, is the perfect medium between the two.
Bronzer or blush?
I would choose bronzer over blush because I love a little warmth to the skin. Plus, if you want to add a little rosy color to your cheeks, just pinch them. Right now I'm using Marc Jacobs contour and highlight palette and another one I love is the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow.
What are your daily hair products?
To be honest with you, I am the type of girl that gets out of the shower and doesn't do anything with my hair. For products I'm really into Amika, which is an all-natural organic line. I also love Oribe, mostly for the smell. I use either Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray or Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo when my hair is dry. When my hair is wet, I'll use Robert Ramos Spray Leave In—just on the ends. On the roots I'll use an Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray.
What product do you think is underrated?
I think that L'Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara is underrated because when I tell people that it's one of my favorite products and that you can get it at the drugstore, they don't believe me. The formula is amazing—the brush is just simple. Sometimes with all the fancy, plastic wands, it's too much.
What makeup do you wear to the gym?
If I wear something to the gym, it will be a tinted moisturizer from Revisions strictly for the reason that it has SPF. If I'm driving, I also want to protect my skin. Another product that I love for on the go is Murad Acne Treatment Concealer for if you have a red spot that's acting up. It's a concealer, but it also has a little bit of salicylic acid. I've had makeup artists come up to me multiple times and say that we need to use it over what they have because the coverage is so good.
